Introducing the Karmachi Gesha: A 12th Anniversary Exclusive

In celebration of our 12th anniversary, we are thrilled to present a truly exceptional microlot: the Ethiopia Anaerobic Slow Dry (ASD) 96-Hours Karmachi Gesha. This rare offering embodies our commitment to quality, innovation, and the art of coffee craftsmanship.

Origin and Farm

Established in 2019, the Karmachi farm spans 1,000 hectares, with 350 hectares dedicated to the indigenous Gori-Gesha cultivar. Nestled in Gesha Karmach, just 5 kilometers from the renowned Gesha village in Southwestern Ethiopia, this farm benefits from the region's rich coffee heritage and ideal growing conditions.

Processing Method

This microlot undergoes a meticulous anaerobic fermentation process lasting approximately 96 hours. Post-fermentation, when the cherries reach about 30% moisture content, they are carefully transferred to raised African beds under shade. Here, they undergo a slow drying phase, extending over 20 to 30 days, until achieving an optimal 11% moisture level. This extended drying period allows the beans to absorb intricate flavors, resulting in a cup that is both complex and refined.

Flavor Profile

The Karmachi Gesha is celebrated for its vibrant floral and tea-like flavors, delicate acidity, and complex aroma. Tasting notes often highlight nuances of sweet mangoes, cinnamon tea, dried apricot, and bergamot, offering a sensory experience that is both unique and memorable.

Availability

This exclusive Karmachi Gesha microlot is available in limited quantities, offered in 200-gram cannisters. Given its unique processing and exceptional quality, we anticipate high demand. We encourage you to secure your bag promptly to indulge in this extraordinary coffee experience.

Join us in celebrating 12 years of coffee excellence with the Karmachi Gesha—a testament to our dedication to bringing you the finest coffees from around the world.
