Since 2005, the farm in Lagoa is UTZ Certified, and in 2008 was awarded with the Rainforest Alliance seal for its accomplishment in sustainable coffee production. Various varieties are planted on Fazenda da Lagoa as part of innovation and diversification.
We sourced and picked from the farm three varieties that went through a selective picking process, which guarantees the strictly soft fine cup with a particular fine cupping profile consisting of 41% of the Catucai variety, with Acaia and Catuai as the other significant varieties planted on the farm.
